This is a twisty melody to be used in a fantasy film. I’ve been working on this orchestration for a long time. I chose to limit myself to a string section, a few woodwinds, and only trumpets for brass. It was an interesting challenge figuring out how to make this small of a group sound bigger. And yes, I pretty much write music that could’ve been in a Harry Potter movie. I thought it would be appropriate to post this on Friday the 13th.
