This piece of music was written for Wwise implementation using branching. There are three sections: explore, tension, and combat. In the explore and tension sections, each phrase was written to be in random order to try to keep repetition down, so it’s a little strange to hear it linearly like this, but it still works. The combat music doesn’t use a lot of drums, because I am trying very hard to find ways to get away for the game music trope of having big drums for combat all the time. This is a fantasy game, and hopefully you will feel that. I played a lot of live instruments on this to give it a more real feel.
