Here is some underscore for a sad scene in a mystical/fantasy film. It’s amazing how lush of a sound you can create with just strings, recorder, and Irish whistle. I feel like I learned everything I know about pastoral sounding strings from listening to Jessica Curry’s score for Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture.
This is music for an action movie trailer that has to go through quite a lot of emotional content, from a love story to tension, to big huge combat scenes. The trailer had a ton of dialog, so it took a lot of very careful planning to fit melodic lines in between the dialog. Enjoy!
