I’m working on a new electronic album for late 2020, and a lot of my recent inspiration comes from the film soundtrack for the movie Gone Girl. I grew up with Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails, so this has been fun to go all analog synths, eurorack, and Morphagene to create these mysterious emotion […]
This soundtrack was written for the film Life of a Doll, which is a metaphor for the COVID 19 quarantine in NYC happening now. I wrote the music for orchestra and some experimental electronics that I created myself using Straylight and Kontakt with experimental delays and freezes. My interpretation of the film is that the […]
Here is a noisy techno track I made using Eurorack synths. The main synth sound was made by modulating the EXP CV on the AJH synth transistor core VCO with audio level CV from the Bubblesound VCOb. This is a little bit of an experimental track with straightforward drums.
This is a techno music track incorporating some trance elements made using Eurorack synths. I used a Stillson Hammer sequencer. The bass is a bubblesound VCOb going into an SEM20(2) filter with the frequency turned way down and the resonance turned WAY up to make that bubbly sub.
I’m attempting to consolidate all the different music I write onto my Youtube channel. This is a tech house track I wrote a year or so ago while on the train to Boston to go to the Pax East game convention to visit a booth that was displaying a game I composed for. Truly a […]
The Best Thing I’ve Discovered about Modular Synthesis / Eurorack I’m a total newbie in modular synthesis and currently have 2 oscillators, 2 filters, a Maths, one VCA, one delay, and one hardware sequencer. I initially bought this gear thinking that I was going to play the keyboard into it and have an amazing big […]
Day 17 of #21daysofvgm This has been a rough summer for the NYC subway: delays, no air conditioning, massive overcrowding sometimes. In the morning, I recorded the trains and then turned the samples into an ambient horror piece to show my feelings. 😀
