This piece was inspired by the video game music for Dead Space. It contains ambient and futuristic elements for a dystopian sci-fi game I’m currently working on. I combined analog synths with artificial intelligence patches using Reaktor from Native Instruments.

A soundtrack for exploring ancient ruins in a jungle.
Day 19 of #21daysofvgm I chose to do the trinity quest from Video Game Music Academy, where you have only three notes you can use for the melody, and interest has to be generated from harmony and texture.

Day 10 of #21daysofvgm I did an ambient piece imagining what it would sound like if you came upon a mysterious castle as you were exploring a deadly swamp.
I’m obsessed with the Era II Medieval Legends sound library by Eduardo Tarilonte, which sounds extraordinarly realistic.
This suspense theme uses aleatoric elements to create a disoriented feeling. There is no key center until the ostinato at the end of the piece. Lots of fun electronic sounds mixed with the orchestra!
Some atonal scary music that builds to a startling climax.
This is underscore music for a memory of a death scene in a film. It’s basically one long, low energy crescendo falling off into cold reality at the end.
