Below are my live eurorack explorations for the week of October 19th, 2020. Enjoy! This is a live eurorack/modular synth jam I put together using one of the free reels Make Noise released for Morphagene the other day. I played a bass pedal note on the Moog Grandmother and chords on the Sequential OB-6, with […]
Here is a leftfield techno track built from Eurorack combined with a sample library for drums.
This is an IDM style electronic piece I wrote for a film that was a blend of action and crime drama. I used mostly Eurorack and Microkorg synths with a Moog DFAM as my drum sound source. The bass is a square wave being heavily modulated as the music plays by a Make Noise Maths […]
This music was written for the film Gone Bella Gone, by Paris Homes films. It has action, crime, and drama elements. Two tracks are here because there are two different versions of the same overall piece of music with different emotional goals. We were looking to build the tension and suspense. You can watch the […]
This is the soundtrack for an in-production short horror movie. I used a lot of experimental techniques for creating the sounds, including recording the subway train and morphing it into a bass.
This is an experimental trap beat I made for a film. I used some bass music principles in the sound design, and the drums are an 808 combined with lots of noisy found sounds.
Here is a noisy techno track I made using Eurorack synths. The main synth sound was made by modulating the EXP CV on the AJH synth transistor core VCO with audio level CV from the Bubblesound VCOb. This is a little bit of an experimental track with straightforward drums.
This is a techno music track incorporating some trance elements made using Eurorack synths. I used a Stillson Hammer sequencer. The bass is a bubblesound VCOb going into an SEM20(2) filter with the frequency turned way down and the resonance turned WAY up to make that bubbly sub.
I have been producing my butt off using a combination of Eurorack and digital methods over the past month. Below are the results!
Ready, set, go! Really have been enjoying putting the Eurorack stuff through its paces. Enjoy!
